![]() This course would be appropriate for any licensed mental health professional who is qualified and desires to supervise Associates in Oregon. This course is designed to meet the 30-hour educational requirement to become a supervisor through the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors & Therapists (OBLPCT) and the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers (OBLSW). Recommended Text: Culturally Sensitive Supervision and Training: Diverse Perspectives and Practical Applications by Kenneth V. This training also includes the LMFT/Systems Supervision training required to supervise marriage and family associates in Oregon. You will be emailed more details about the training along with materials approximately 7-10 days prior to the first weekend but let me know if you have questions: hours of Continuing Education including 6 hours in Ethics and 6 hours in Cultural Competency for Oregon. Outside reading is required for this course. An LCSW supervisor provides expertise for OBLCW portion of the training as a content expert since LPC’s & LMFT’s cannot supervise LCSW Associates for licensure in Oregon. This training will cover the supervision of counselor associates and marriage and family associates through the OBLPCT and clinical social work associates through the OBLSW. Out of state participants are welcome to register for this training if it qualifies in your state, but please note, our ethical/legal content will only cover the state of Oregon. We will be using Zoom as the training platform. ![]() You must be present for the live broadcast of the training at the scheduled times and it will not be recorded. This training will occur online via synchronous teaching Pacific Standard Time from Portland, Oregon. ![]() ![]() The informed consent for this training is included in your registration form and is required.
